Terms of Use

The rules for using Swiplete, including photo deletion, ads, and your responsibilities.

← Swiplete

Last updated: 13 September 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Swiplete iPhone app (“the App”). By using the App you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

Swiplete helps you review photos in Apple Photos, swipe to keep or mark them, and confirm deletion. Core features need Photos permission. The App is supported by ads after the first-launch tutorial.

2. License

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the Apple Media Services Terms and any App Store rules.

3. Your photos and deletions

Your photos remain yours. You decide what to keep or delete. When you confirm, deletion goes through Apple Photos. Items usually stay in Recently Deleted for about 30 days, then may be permanently removed by Apple. We are not responsible for photos you confirm for deletion, for emptying Recently Deleted, or for Photos permission you deny or limit.

Always review the Apple confirmation sheet before you delete.

4. Acceptable use

Use the App only for lawful purposes and only on photo libraries you are allowed to manage. Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to reverse-engineer the App in ways prohibited by law.

5. Advertising

Interstitial ads from Google Mobile Ads may appear about every 150 seconds of foreground use after the tutorial, pausing in the background and restarting after you close an ad. Ad content is provided by Google and its partners. We do not control every ad. Their terms and policies apply to the ads themselves.

6. Intellectual property

The App, name Swiplete, design, and bundled tutorial images belong to the developer or licensors. Your Photo Library content remains yours.

7. “As is”

The App is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that ads will always fill, that every photo format will display, or that deletion will succeed in every edge case (for example iCloud, shared albums, or restricted assets).

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for lost photos, lost profits, ad content, or indirect damages arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law, including in the EEA and UK.

9. Apple and third parties

Apple Photos, iCloud, and the App Store are Apple’s services. Google ads are Google’s services. We are not those companies and are not responsible for their outages or rules.

10. Changes and availability

We may update the App or these Terms. Continued use after an in-app update of these Terms means you accept the revised Terms. We may stop offering the App.

11. Termination

Stop using and delete the App at any time. License rights end if you breach these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
